
Jane Braun
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™
Jane Braun has achieved 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional certification and earned a master’s degree in financial planning and taxation from San Diego State University. Jane is a Branch Manager and a Registered Representative/ Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network® and was previously employed by JPMorgan Chase as a Senior Financial Advisor.
Jane’s primary responsibility is to develop and build strong relationships with the clients she serves. Specializing in retirement asset accumulation and retirement income strategies, she collaborates with tax and legal professionals in the planning process. Jane also works with families advising on charitable giving, intergenerational wealth transfer, and legacy planning.
Residing and working in Coronado, Jane is very involved in the San Diego community. She served for three years as president of the Coronado Historical Association, as well as president-elect of the San Diego Blood Bank. Jane is currently on the Executive Committee for Sharp Coronado Hospital Foundation and is a member of the Rotary Club of Coronado and a local P.E.O. chapter.
Jane is a lifelong advocate of education, including financial literacy for students. She regularly presents workshops to women and young adults to inspire and motivate them to take control in building their financial futures. As a mother of five adult children, collectively Jane’s family has earned five undergraduate degrees, two master’s degrees, and two Juris Doctorates.

Sheila Braun, CPA
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™
Sheila Braun joined Commonwealth Financial Network as a Financial Advisor in 2021. She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional certification.
Sheila received her undergraduate degree in 2011 from the Marshall Business School, Leventhal School of Accounting at the University of Southern California, graduating with Honors. She has held her Certified Public Accountant license for 10 years.
Sheila brings a wealth of knowledge to the Plan to Prosper team as well as to our clients from her decade of experience as a CPA at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). In her most recent position as a mergers & acquisitions tax director at PwC, Sheila advised multinational corporations and private equity firms on issues related to all manner of domestic and international transactions. Specifically, leading cross-jurisdiction and cross-specialty teams to diligence, structure, negotiate, and execute domestic and cross-border deals. Sheila has strong experience in finance, tax, and investments.
Sheila made the decision to transition from her career at PwC and join Commonwealth because she is passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their personal and financial goals. Sheila has an excellent ability to connect with people and respond to their needs in an eloquent, caring, and intuitive way.
Sheila enjoys golfing with her family, spending time outdoors, especially with her dog, Harmon, and everything related to nutrition and wellness!

Kelly Ronimus
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™
Kelly Ronimus has been working with Jane since July 2015. Starting off as a marketing coordinator, Kelly developed the Plan to Prosper client education and appreciation programs, as well as Women & Wealth Lecture Series. In addition, Kelly is one of our clients’ main points of contact for account inquiries and trade requests. In addition, Kelly holds her FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations. In 2020, she attended San Diego State University and obtained her Executive Financial Planner Certificate. Kelly now holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation. She is passionate about assisting millennials with their financial goals whether it be helping with a budget, navigating through employer-sponsored retirement plans, or purchasing a first home.
Growing up in Coronado, Kelly was a competitive swimmer and water polo player. After graduating from Coronado High School, Kelly continued her education at UCLA while also playing NCAA Division I Water Polo. Kelly majored in political science, with an emphasis on American politics. After graduating from UCLA, Kelly continued her water polo career by playing semi-professionally in Sydney, Australia. Now officially retired from water polo, Kelly enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, and cheering on her San Diego Padres. Kelly currently serves on the Board of Directors for Coronado Historical Association.

Shannon Clancy
Financial Assistant
Shannon Clancy joined the Plan to Prosper team in 2020. Shannon’s role is to assist the clients that Jane, Sheila, and Kelly advise. Shannon will often be the first point of contact in client relations, including scheduling client meetings and managing ongoing connections with clients. She helps with client events and assists in onboarding new client relationships.
Shannon is a Coronado native and an alumna of Coronado High School and Coronado School of the Arts, Class of 2014. In 2018, Shannon graduated from Hampshire College located in Amherst, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
When not at Plan to Prosper, Shannon works in the membership department of the Coronado Historical Association. Shannon is an animal enthusiast, a supporter of the arts, and a lifelong learner.
