Kelly Braun has been working alongside Jane for more than ten years. She began her career at Plan to Prosper as the firm’s Marketing Coordinator, where she developed and led client education and appreciation initiatives, including the Women & Wealth series. Through this role, Kelly helped strengthen the firm’s commitment to proactive education, long-term planning, and meaningful client engagement.
Over time, Kelly transitioned into a client-facing advisory role, becoming fully licensed and earning her Series 7 and Series 66 registrations. In 2020, she further advanced her expertise by completing the Executive Financial Planner Certificate program at San Diego State University. Kelly now holds both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) and CERTIFIED PLAN FIDUCIARY ADVISOR® (CPFA®) designations, reinforcing her commitment to fiduciary best practices, comprehensive planning, and client-first guidance.
Today, Kelly serves as the Director of Operations for Plan to Prosper. In this role, she plays a critical part in the firm’s day-to-day operations while also supporting clients with financial planning questions, account administration, money movement, and trade requests. Kelly takes great pride in the long-standing relationships she has built with clients and is known for her attention to detail, responsiveness, and dedication to delivering a high level of service.
Kelly is especially passionate about working with millennials and young families, helping them build strong financial foundations through thoughtful education planning, retirement readiness, cash flow and investment strategies, and long-term wealth accumulation.
Kelly was a Division I water polo player at UCLA and continues to enjoy all things sports and athletics. A proud Coronado local, she currently serves as Secretary for the Coronado Historical Association. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending time with family and friends—especially her husband, Bobby, and son, Finley. The three can often be seen walking together around Coronado each morning and evening.
